The Water Reduction Award recognize Whole Building Data using ENERGYSTAR’s Portfolio Manager Waterscore tool.

Whole Building Data
NAA recognizes that members have access to varying levels of utility data. For apartment communities who submit whole building data, winners of the NAA R.O.E. Energy Reduction Award will be selected based on largest increase in ENERGY STAR score from January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2019.

The Energy Reduction Awards are based solely on overall energy reduction quantitatively and require the use of EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® as the measurement tool. See this link to learn how to setup an account.

To determine your property’s ENERGY STAR scores, applicants will need to submit water utility data to EPA ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager. You will need information from your monthly utility bills and aggregated resident data from your utilities dating back to January 1, 2017 to complete this task. Portfolio Manager cannot populate a score without this information.

Additional Submission Requirements

NAA will need your ENERGY STAR Waterscores from Portfolio Manager on January 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019
