Noel is the embodiment of a Senior National Account Manager. He handles the full sales cycle from prospecting, to discovery meeting, to pricing/proposal, to closing. After the sale, no one is better than Noel at ensuring customer satisfaction. He works closely with his internal operations partners to keep clear communication with his clients and guarantee that important deadlines are met.
In 2020, ADT Multifamily implemented a new sales playbook. Noel was already a top performing rep, but going into 2021, he took to the training, stepped out of his comfort zone, and became a champion for our new processes and procedures. Not only did he improve his own presentation and closing techniques, but he regularly coaches his peers (and even his boss!) on best practices.
While most of the sales world came walking out of a slow 2020, Noel was already sprinting. He introduced several new management companies to the benefits of smart home technology. He is an active member of AAGD/AATC and is regularly involved in events with SAAA, AAA, and HAA. For someone selling to the entire state of TX, he makes it look easy. On top of his TX duties, he often flies around the country to help his peers with their organizations and customers. When someone needs to walk a property for a product demo, he is the first to raise his hand, as he has properties and customers across the USA.
In 2021, Noel shook aside his jitters and became a moderator, panelist, and speaker at events from the east coast to the west coast. His fellow panelists lavished praises on him for his ability to speak "multifamily" without sounding salesy. He truly understands the needs of the industry and can get a room of 50-200 to listen to what he's saying.
When it comes to his reputation inside the organization, he is constantly brought up in conversations. His peers say things like "I want to be a Noel next year with my production" and senior leaders in the organization tell me that "if you had a team of Noels, you would be on cruise control." He earned a promotion in 2021 from National Account Manager to Senior National Account Manager for his relentless work ethic, continuously exceeding his quotas, and his selfless mentoring of his teammates.
Over the past year, Noel earned the distinction of the top National Account Manager in the country and will be recognized at our Circle of Excellence. Out of over 20,000 employees, only about 200 receive this honor. Noel is truly in the top 1% of employees at ADT. His sales accomplishments are nothing to scoff at, and yet as his customer base grows, every single one of them continues to speak to his ability to handle all of their ongoing installation and service requests.
It is an honor to have someone like Noel at our organization, and it is with great pride that I submit this application for NAA Supplier Sales Professional of the Year.
In his first 3 years in the ADT Multifamily organization, Noel was the most consistent performer, finishing 2018-2020 at 150-160% to plan. There are not many things that I would guarantee as confidently as I would guarantee Noel's production year after year.
In 2021, he took it up to a new level. He finished the year at 543% to plan, and the details are worth exploring.
-Noel converted 4,489 apartment units from traditional to smart home units.
-Noel finished 1,477% to plan on his installation revenue bringing in over $3M.
-Noel added over $76k in recurring revenue, finishing 318% to plan in this category.
-Noel's total sales production was $5.8M, which was 1/3 of the entire department's production.
On top of his individual production, Noel was involved in deals with other national account managers that added an additional 1,500+ units and another $2M in production to the bottom line. He truly led the pack when it came to production, but selflessly helped others to ensure their success.
He's developed deep relationships with board members in most of the major local apartment associations, and is very well known as a reliable resource and someone who can be trusted and depended on.
