Elizabeth Francisco is the epitome of the type of person that the NAA Excellence in Service Awards are intended to recognize. In her 30 years in the multifamily industry, she has continuously demonstrated commitment and service to her residents, team members and investors while working for a multifamily operator and then to her customers, partners, corporate staff and investors while at ResMan.

Elizabeth has been actively involved with the NAA throughout her entire career – starting out as a leasing agent who took advantage of the educational and networking opportunities her local NAA affiliate offered to learn the business and develop the skills and connections that enabled her to move through the ranks to VP of Operations. Then with the launch of ResMan, she continued to support the NAA and its educational, legislative, and charitable initiatives, investing her time and company resources. Elizabeth’s recent involvement with the NAA includes:

• Presenter at 2019 TAA Education Conference (Women Overcoming Obstacles in Multifamily)
• Presenter at 2019 Property Mgmt Assn of Michigan (PMAM) (Empowered Women Improve the Bottom Line)
• Annual participation in NAA Advocate (Washington DC)
• Annual participation in NAA national and regional charity events
• Support and advocate for NAA Click & Lease through ResMan’s advanced integration with Blue Moon

Elizabeth’s commitment to the multifamily industry extends beyond just her involvement with NAA. She is generous with her time and makes herself available to support other industry initiatives. For example:

• Contributing member of the NMHC Rent Payment Tracker project which provided critical data to help the industry advocate for and receive emergency rental assistance

• Advisor to Multifamily Leadership and instrumental in creating the Multifamily Women’s Summit

• Frequent panelist and speaker at other industry events (including Multifamily Women’s Summit) and at multifamily operator “all hands” events where she shares her experiences and advice with the next generation of multifamily leaders

But off the formal stage is perhaps where Elizabeth makes her greatest contributions. Elizabeth thrives on networking with, connecting, and advising individuals and companies across our industry. She finds both formal and informal avenues to help people and organizations succeed. For example:

• Supports technology suppliers to the multifamily industry through ResMan’s partner network, which enables both new and established software companies to connect to ResMan and access a new sales channel for very little cost

• Educates the industry on critical topics such as employee engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion and provides a forum for innovative operators and suppliers to share their stories through her “Trailblazing” podcast series, webinars and blogs

• Formally and informally mentors and coaches many women leaders within multifamily supplier and operator communities – helping them to address challenges, build confidence and overcome barriers

• Offers free, unlimited online product training and customer support to ResMan property management platform customers to remove barriers and ensure they are able to operate efficiently
